I have received so much wonderful feedback about the invitations and it makes me feel so great! They were such a cause of stress…and I spent countless hours on them, I now know it was worth every second!!! What a great way to set the stage for the wedding. I’m so excited

We mailed our invitations out today. It is exciting to think that by the end of the week we could have some responses. I can’t believe how fast everything is going! Im lovin’ it!

I had such a wonderful…wedding filled weekend!  Amanda’s dress looked really nice on her!  I liked it a lot better the second time I saw it!  It’s super wrinkly right now, so I can’t wait to see what they look like when they fit the girls correctly and are steamed!  I pick Beck’s up from the store in two weeks, so we shall see then!

Our meeting with the officiant went wonderfully!  She was amazing, and I can’t wait to have her marry us!  She sent us the ceremony script on Sunday evening and it was beautiful!  It fits our personalities so well…crazy that she was ale to do that after only an hour of meeting with use.  Im so excited about it now!

I also have done a lot of work on projects this weekend, and I feel like I’m making some real headway on them now!  The invitations are complete and ready to be put in the mail (they will go out Friday!!!).  Laura took all of the supplies for the programs and is going to be working on assembling those.  I just have to finish the content for the inside and they will be almost ready to go!  I also started working on the place cards (at least what I can work on now).  That is going to be a big project…but they are going to be phenomenal!  I am very excited about them!!!

Last but not least….my dress fitting.  It went amazingly!  My gown could not have fit better.  She mainly just has to put the bustle in and it will be ready in two weeks….TWO WEEKS!  So crazy!  I can’t even comprehend how fast everything is going right now.  Last year dragged and dragged so it’s weird how time is flying by now!  I’m loving every minute of it!

We have a lot planned this weekend, most related to the wedding, which is really making me realize how close it is! Tonight I went with Amanda to get her dress fitted…I think it looked great on her :).  Tomorrow Rob and I are meeting with our officiant for the first time to discuss the details of the ceremony.  Im very excited to meet her and to have an idea of how the ceremony will run.  Then, on Sunday, I have my first dress fitting!  I am so excited to go visit my gown…I haven’t seen it in over 3 months…I miss it!  I will let you all know how it goes!

Krystle and I worked on invitations for quite a while today and they are almost ready to go out (finally!!).  We had a few setbacks, but we actually got them all in envelopes and sealed.  Now i’m just waiting for the stamps that I ordered to arrive and we will be ready to send them out.  I cannot believe that we are actually almost to the point that I can send the invitations to our wedding out.  It is so exciting!

I would like to start by saying thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the shower today!  I know the weather was awful (just my luck ;)), but it was so nice to see everyone!

We had such a great time today! My sister, bridesmaids, and mom did such a fantastic job pulling everything together.  They came up with some creative games…one of which was a huge hit.  They gave everyone a list of some of my favorite things, and had them make a collage about me.  After they were all done, they laid them all out for me and I had to pick my favorite.  It was by far one of the hardest decisions I have ever made, but seemed to be a lot of fun for everyone else.

The amount of gifts we received from everyone was just astounding.  People were so generous and we so greatly appreciated everything we received!  We are still working on putting things away Our house is starting to feel like home being filled up with all of the wonderful things from our closest friends and family!

I think it is really starting to set in now.  We will be married in less then 3 months, and I could not be more excited.  Time is just flying by…Shower number 2 is only a month away…We can’t wait!!

Not only is today Valentines day, but it also marks the 90 day mark to the wedding (which Rob pointed out in my card this morning :)). We also only have a week until the shower. I can’t believe how fast everything is moving now! My mom & I are going shopping for shoes for her dress today, so that should be fun, and then Rob and I are going to dinner tonight at Andiamo…which is always exciting since that is our reception hall.

I love Valentines Day…

I know this post is 2 days late (life has been hectic lately)…but we are finally in the double digit countdown to the wedding! Thursday was the official day when we only had 99 days until the wedding. Everything is flying by now! The girls dresses are scheduled to arrive at the store on Wednesday, so we can start setting up their fittings.  There is exactly two week until our first wedding shower, and then only a month until the second.  I have also scheduled my initial dress fitting for the first weekend in March as well as our initial meeting with our officiant to plan out our ceremony.

Laura helped me finalize the design of our centerpieces…and we are going to get together after the shower to figure out how many flowers we will need so I can order those, and we will be all set with all of the details for the wedding and reception.

I can barely contain my excitement!  (I cant even imagine how I will feel when we are in the single digits ;))

We didn’t let the snow ruin our weekend this time.  My Aunt Anna, Lauren, and I met at the dress store to look for flower girl dresses.  I was so much fun!  Lauren had such a great time trying on dresses…and she looked so beautiful!  The dress we picked out makes her look like a princess.  It’s so exciting!

I also me my sister-in-law’s to be to talk to the florist and put down a deposit…so it is official, I have finished all of the “big” tasks that have to be done before the wedding.  All my vendors are booked, all of the big details have been decided on, now all I have to do is complete all of my projects

Laura, Jen & I also went to the mall to look for a dress for the shower.  I ended up buying a dress for the shower as well as for teh rehersal dinner.  They will all work for the honeymoon too, so I am all set on dresses for the wedding!

It intrigues me that every single time I have plans to do something fun…the snow comes in a ruins it.  I can’t quite figure out why that happens, but I don’t like it one bit!  My Aunt Anna, Lauren & I were planning to meet up at the store that the girls got their dresses for the wedding at to pick Lauren’s flower girl dress out.  We have been looking forward to this for months, so we were bummed when it had to be postponed until next weekend.

On a good note, I ended up getting the rest of the “big” things done that had to be today.  I booked a limo for the day of the wedding, I scheduled our appointments for the bridesmaids and myself to get mani’s/pedi’s the day before the wedding, and I made an appointment with the florist to meet and put down a deposit.  I have also been working on my bridesmaid’s gift again today, which is always fun for me!

I guess it turned out to be an OK day, but all I have to say is that im done with snow!!
